New Zealand Pohutakawa Crewel Embroidery Kit

The Pohutukawa is known as the New Zealand Christmas Tree as it flowers profusely in midsummer. It grows well on the seacoast, mostly in the North Island, and is a striking feature of the landscape at Christmas time. Bees help with the pollination (although the bee shown is not a native!) Worked in several different stitches on linen/cotton material. Size of stitched area 15cms (6ins) diameter.
