Mary is starting a new phase. Having owned Nancys Stitch Studio (formerly Nancys Embroidery Shop) for nearly 22 years, she has sold the retail shop so she has more time for what she really loves, designing and stitching.
The past 22 years has given Mary time to indulge in a wide range of textiles craft areas. She began designing needlepoint designs after having attended a design class with Jennifer Pudney in 1988.
Mary then went on to complete the Textile Design Degree at Victoria University Wellington.
One of Mary’s strengths is that she can develop patterns, whether it be knitting, embroidery, canvas work or needlepoint that is accessible for all levels of expertise while being appealing.
Having purchased the copyright to the Jennifer Pudney designs, Mary will continue the manufacturing, online sales and wholesale of these products.
