Kākahu, Monarch Butterfly Needlepoint Kit
The Monarch Butterfly is not a native of New Zealand but it has been adopted by Barnardos New Zealand as its logo. (The butterfly changes from egg to chrysalis to insect and in the same way children can be helped into a better way of life.) Their Māori name is kākahu, meaning cloak.
