Designed by Mary Self in a Paua inspired colourway. The inspiration for this design was a picture of paua shell yachts and the Nikau palm columns at the Wellington Central Library. The piece has been designed so that you can stitch 4 individual pictures or one panel.

Strawberry Fields Forever

Designed by Mary Self. A Biscornu is a small ornamental pincushion. It has 8 sides and is usually secured in the centre of the top and the bottom, to give a small depression. The word itself comes from the French, meaning something that has an irregular form, with projections. I have just re-worked the design in our Strand yarn.
