Fruit Garden CAL in Strand
| I am so enjoying the Fruit Garden CAL (Crochet Along) from Janie Crowe. It has been the pure escapism that I have needed during this time of transition. I am using our Strand Yarn as I have more than 170 colours from which to choose. As I crochet loosely, I am using a 2.5mm crochet hook. Because the Strand yarn is finer than the original it will be smaller so another border will be added. Janie’s patterns are clear and easy to follow and are backed up by excellent youtube videos. You can find the patterns here You will need a 100gm ball of the Strand yarn for each. You can order the 100gm balls here If you would like me to put together a starter kit* of 30m skeins of the other colours I have used please email me. *It can only be a starter kit because I have been making this for my pure enjoyment I have not kept accurate records of the amounts used. |

I am interested in doing this crochet project. The big question for me is cost? How much does the total project cost for you to supply me with enough material to make to Fruit garden?

Hi Pam, I am sorry for not getting back to you.
As I did this as a personal project, I didn’t receord every bit of thread that I used.
I have supplied a starter kit to someone else for $160 approx. You would probably need another 2 100gm Balls of Strand for the background at $38 each to complete the full blanket.
