Life is Just a Bowl of Cherries Still Life (Sold)

In this beginner’s class, New Zealand native leaves provide shapes for felt and embroidery. In this class you will learn a number of embroidery stitches with Strand yarn. At the end of the class you will be given detailed stitching instruction. ​The $30 design pack will include a printed linen/cotton panel of the design, a suggested stitch and colour layout and a stitch dictionary What to bring: If you have felt and crewel yarn that you would like to use, you can bring them to class. A full list of requirements will be sent once you have enrolled. Whether it is a street of funky Noddy style houses inspired by Wellington architect Roger Walker or traditional Villas on the green belt, come along and create your favourite hill view. You will use traditional English Paper piecing methods to 'build' the houses with surrounding trees. The trees and bush will be embellished with stitches to give a lushness to the view.
